As usual our once united nation’s so called leaders continue fighting amongst each other; it’s party against party, and nothing else. They just can’t get over themselves and their ridiculous squabbles to come together as a NATION to help the American people; that’s pathetic at best!
Our nation has been divided for too many years, and it continues to worsen with all of the bickering between the American citizens; again, each party is blaming the other - instead of coming together to get through this monster of a virus together.
There is not one person on this planet not being affected by this virus, and one of the worst of the realities besides the virus itself, is the quarantines and social distancing; especially for those who are “huggers” by nature. This difficult time just proves how important human contact really is. Yes, thanks to technology, it does ease it somewhat with being able to face time, Skype, message, call, and contact each other on social media, but it will never take the place of being in physical contact with those we love; especially with those who are sick and dying from this horrific virus. It’s absolutely heartbreaking for those who are dying without family and friends being there with them as they take their last breath; talk about the level of the cruelty of this disease.
It’s often very difficult to hold onto faith during these times, but we know it won’t last forever, and many loved ones will have fallen victim in the end. That being said, I hope that in the end people will finally realize how precious life really is after we’ve gone through so much isolation and try not to take each other or our time with each for granted.
