The Cruel Human Race

In these times, especially, I try to stay positive, and I try to share it when I really see a need; which is constant anymore. However, even the most loving and strongest people have their limits.

Words hurt! I know most everyone has been a victim of the person who will lose their minds in the heat of the moment; trust me, I've had way too many of them in my life, and I'm sure they’ll be more of those moments.

Bottom line, harsh or hateful words are the hardest to heal from; more so than physical wounds. In spite of people not wanting to remember abusive words, they often never forget, therefor breaking a person’s spirit. I cringe at the horrible words and the hateful tone I likely have used in the heat of the moment; though I’ve been working on choosing my words, I still lash out from time to time.

I’m thankful I’m not one to call someone abusive names to be mean, or to lift myself just to make myself feel better. Because I was severely bullied for most of my childhood, I didn’t realize just how strong I really am. This being said, I will be one of the first to come to the defense for people who are at an unfair disadvantage due to a disease or illness; who of which can’t speak up for themselves due to the disease,or fear.

I’m inspired to write this, because a friend/follower of mine on Twitter is being bullied nonstop; every other day it seems to be happening! This friend of mine has a terrific heart, but because she has Autism, they’re constantly harassing the hell out of her; and it’s all because of jealousy! She has so many actors/actresses following her, and the bullies feel entitled to have them as well. They been reported and blocked, but it’s not stopping them. People will go as far to create another account on Twitter just to go after her again.

Such cowards hiding behind a computer just to hurt her feelings; calling her the “R” word because she has Autism! Calling her the “R” word is what pushed me over the edge; I DESPISE THAT WORD!! I have several people I know personally who are in the same boat as my friend is. People have no damn compassion anymore; its getting old and out of control.

I want to challenge people to stand up for anyone being bullied; the more we stand together to come to the defense others, the more we can get it to stop!
