My Peaceful Protest....

I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to ALL of you who read and share my blog posts; it means more to me than I could ever express. Every single person in my life, my friends and family, means so very much to me; because of all of YOU, I'm BLESSED way beyond words.

In this modern life, we all keep so very busy, that of which always ends up costing all of us the most precious times with each other; that's how I feel anyway. As frustrating, hurtful, and as scary as this virus has been; and will be for quite some time, I think it may have opened some eyes, and hearts, about how precious, fragile, and temporary this life really is! And yet, it seems like we get so many constant reminders to change things that we know aren't right; that of which we usually acknowledge at the time. But then, we go back to our habits and choices until we end up facing yet another tragedy that rocks our world.

I feel as though we continue with the same patterns day in and day out; just like in the movie Groundhog Day; where Bill Murray plays a cynical weatherman, who lives day after day with the exact same events over and over again; while being in Pennsylvania waiting to see the little critter's weather prediction, that indicates whether or not there will be six more weeks of winter. While that movie's a comedy, it's not exactly a belly laugh in the real world; all showing that we haven't learned our lessons that was most likely in plain sight! While Bill Murray's character was unable to control what was happening - the opposite is true for us, we the people, when it comes to ending racism WE CAN control it!

We need to talk the talk and walk the walk when it comes to every single layer of ALL racism in this country; or better yet, all of it in the world! Racism is the worst kind hate, and it needs to stop immediately. In fact, it really should have ended the minute President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, but it didn't. However that was on them, that was their mistake, and we cannot keep blaming those from long ago for what we can control and CHANGE NOW!

I cannot and will not participate in demonstrations in public for a few reasons, mostly because of my concern for my personal safety, and because we can protest in many ways, I choose to take it all to my Senators! In thinking about all of this, I will be asking for a bill to be signed for Officers of the Law, who are to PROTECT AND SERVE, commit these crimes of any degree of murder against anyone of any race, or nationality, they need to receive harsher penalties and go down for LIFE; whether it's prison, or the death penalty. I wouldn't normally want different sets of laws for different sets of people, but when it comes to the ones who are to protect everyone, it really should be done that way.

All of that being said, I will be addressing my Senator to sign an iron clad bill to enact stiffer laws for the Police Officers who intentionally murder anyone of any race or nationality; I will add too, that all Police Officers should receive extensive training in all aspects of their job. This law will help make the loud and clear statements we need to fight for the changes we need as individuals, and as a united country. I love this country. Trump's slogan of "Make America Great Again" is ridiculous, because America has been, and always will be great - the problem is the mindset of the people who refuse to see us all as one race - THE HUMAN RACE!
