A New Manuscript In The Works

I have often read that it’s a strong marketing strategy to gain readership of a book an author is working on by sharing a synopsis, or a preview of the manuscript in the works before it’s finished. That being said, I have decided to post a synopsis of my next story to see what type of feedback I receive.

A couple of things; first, as you will see at the bottom of the page of my synopsis, what I post is copyrighted material; I don’t care who you are, please don’t tread on me. There should be nothing else to say in regards to my property, except thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Second, as you will read, this story is far different from my first book, Forbidden Desires. It is fiction, of course, but the story I’m writing requires a lot of research; which I love! I’m trying something altogether different and exciting, but very challenging. This work of fiction can fall under several subcategories of the fiction genre such as, supernatural, crime, and historic; though it’s set in the current era. Above all, this is going to generate some controversy, which I love, because at least then it’s being talked about.

I do understand that not everyone will like my work, and that’s ok; I don’t expect everyone to like every single article or book I will write in the future, as everyone has their own taste in books, and in any other form of art and entertainment.

I feel the need to add that, in my story, the characters I create are of fiction; I’m not using real names, please understand this; especially because this will be a highly controversial story, and it’s set in the current era. This story is based on my love for US History and my own imagination; nothing more. So, please read this with an open mind, and don’t take it too seriously. I thank all of you for your support.

The American Revolution - Revisited

Secret Service Agent, TJ Carter has overseen the safety of the previous President of the United States and has been asked to stay on with the current Commander in Chief; much to his disdain. But he’s on a mission, and he feels with his whole heart and soul, that he has been called upon for the most important duty of his life; to save the entire nation from the out of control power, corruption, and greed working its way through the ranks. Though he hasn’t been too thrilled with a few of the previous men who sat in the Oval Office, this latest President is dividing this nation to the breaking point; he’s had enough, and he’s done with sitting back waiting for a change - the change is now, and he’s leading the troops.

TJ Carter is in the perfect position on the inside for his mission, and that alone keeps him driven to reach that goal of bringing America back to its original foundation of greatness, that began with the Fore Fathers. Unfortunately, battles of such magnitude too often reach staggering heights of anger and violence, which in the end was how America came to be; all to escape the dictating ruler of the British Parliament, and to give the people a chance at Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Carter feels this man is on the same path of becoming a dictator who will keep a whole nation under his thumb by simply using the divide and conquer techniques that will pave the way for him to become that nightmarish dictator that other nations have had to overcome over the years. Carter is the man who will show not only the nation that someone can indeed stop this head on collision, but he will prove it to the world; that the common man can, and will prevail against the corruption of money and power.

TJ Carter is the type of man who people automatically look to for answers, because he’s always delivered. He has a reputation of a man who doesn’t think twice in coloring outside of the lines; as long as the end justifies the means for the majority. He has inside information, endless resources, an unexpected ally, and a secret connection that he must never reveal; until the time is right. He is preparing for the biggest battle of his life, a battle he refuses to lose, the ultimate battle for the American people and for his own family and future generations to come; just as the Fore Fathers did for America. Will this battle lead to another American Revolution? Special Agent Carter and his regime are prepared to pay the ultimate price, to unite a very broken America at all costs, to put it back in the hands of the people as it once was - and as it was meant to be.

This mission is a do or die for the United States, and not just as a country, but as the one country the world has always looked to for that “American Dream”; the dream that others around the world have been running towards since 1776.
